Party Pan Pleasure!
Well, I swooned when I saw it, of course! What a beautiful beautiful pan this is! And Huge! My only fear was that it wouldn't fit my LG oven, but what a relief it was when the oven door did close comfortably, though by a hair. I then washed the pan and prepared a spatchcocked chicken, using more oil (olive) than usual as per suggested, and threw in a couple dozen unpeeled garlics, lots of mushrooms, a scattering of my homegrown red peppers (Criolla de Cocinas), and some small golden potatoes after about 30- 40 minutes into the cooking, then finally added a bunch of cut up asparagus towards the end so they didn't overcook. The results were so great that I took pictures of it all! It looked as good as some of those delicious dishes in Food and Wine magazine.
What I loved most, other than the taste!, was that there was plenty of room for not only a whole big bird spatchcocked, but all the extra veggies and herbs as well, and----nothing stuck! It all easily wiped off after we devoured the meal. And no extra pots were needed.
So I must say that I am one happy camper, as they say, and my husband was "over the moon"! This pan now is my favorite on par with the deep farm skillet.
Can't thank you great, talented folks enough for being such special artisans. Your exquisite wares have helped me so very much in getting my interest back to cooking after dealing with a lot of grief, and now I can't wait to try out more of my recipes. This pan " takes the cake"----never saw one that…
